Ron Baker is a proven small-to-medium-sized business expert who gained his experience through having been General Manager and co-owner for 20 years of a successful $9 million printing and graphic design company operating in the highly competitive Greater Toronto Area (GTA) marketplace.

A University of Toronto chemical engineer and MBA, Ron began his business career in the specialty chemical industry as a production manager of a unionized shop working for G. H. Wood and Co. He later moved into the food industry on joining Club House Foods where he held such positions as Director of Operations, VP Marketing and General Manager of Ashner Foods, a money-losing acquired company that he successfully turned around. During his years running his printing company, Ron developed a keen appreciation of what it takes to succeed in business: focus on making profitable sales; deliver a quality product on time; and closely watch your Company's cash position.

Ron is also very knowledgeable in ownership transition matters. He gained excellent experience in private company expansion, acquisitions, and divestitures when he led his printing firm to triple its sales volumes and expand its capabilities by acquiring three related companies, and later, when he took charge of a vigorous preparation and negotiation process that resulted in the successful sale of his firm to a U.S based organization.
