Matt Hemmingsen CHRP, BA
Matt Hemmingsen is an experienced Senior Human Resources executive with more than 20 years of experience in business and HR strategy setting and execution, particularly in companies undergoing significant organizational change. Having held VP, Human Resources positions in the manufacturing, high tech, and service sector with such firms as Minacs Worldwide Inc., Lawson Mardon Packaging, Inc. and Diversey Corporation, Matt works with a number of organizations on both strategic and tactical personnel and business cultural issues such as business/HR strategy development, organization effectiveness, change management initiatives, and compensation programs. Matt's strength is in providing practical solutions to assist operating executives in leading and managing significant change within organizations. He is highly respected as a focused, results oriented and a clear and deliberate communicator who has delivered significant results across a variety of assignments. Matt is BA graduate of Carleton University, a certified Canadian Human Resources Professional (CHRP), and a member of the Canadian Human Resource Planners Association, the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario, the World at Work (previously the American Compensation Association), and, the Strategic Leadership Forum. Also, Matt has been a member of the Council of Human Resources Executives of the Conference Board of Canada and has participated in a number of workshops including Compensating in a Global Environment, and currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of Nucleus Housing, a not for profit organization.
