Don Gedge is CNi's Advisory Board Chairman. He is a company director, business professional and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in top-level positions managing companies in transition.

Don's credentials are impressive. He is a graduate in Civil Engineering from Le College Militaire Royale de Saint-Jean, Bachelor of Arts, Honours Economics and Commerce from the Royal Military College, and Master of Arts, Economics from the University of Ottawa. Additionally, Don holds the Certified Management Accounting (CMA) designation and he is currently enrolled in the newly established Corporate Governance College, a joint program offered by the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Rotman School of Business at University of Toronto.

Equally impressive are Don's career credentials. For over 20 years, Don has held top management positions ranging from Treasure, VP Finance, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer, to Managing Director and Co-founder. During this period, he worked in wide range of industries, starting with the steel industry, then mining, financial services, food products, recreational property development, and most recently, consulting services.

Don's list of accomplishments include turning around a failing trust company over a three year period and selling it for $12 million, starting up a fisheries business, growing it to $20 million, introducing new products into Asian markets, then selling it, and creating a recreation property management company and building 15 facilities.

Today, Don works with organizations to help them ensure they have strong leadership, a solid staff of people working together in effective teams, clear plans and objectives, and a positive, defined style of doing business.
